Dr. S S Gupta has been in the industry for last 35 years, he has been in the forefront of Pipeline Integrity Management activities of Indian Oil Corporation’s Pipelines Division. His areas of work include development of line pipe specification, In-line Inspection, Cathodic Protection, Pipeline coating, Pipeline Risk Assessment, Storage Tank Maintenance and Inspection, maintenance of off-shore assets like offshore pipelines and SPMs etc. He is responsible for introduction of Pipeline Integrity Management System (PIMS) across the pipeline network of IOCL. Dr. Gupta has published numerous papers and made presentations in various national and International forums like Petrotech, World Petroleum Congress etc. He is also a member of many national and international bodies like Pipeline Operators Forum of Europe, Pipeline Technology Conference Berlin et.




Atul K Joshi

B.Tech (Hons) in Electrical Engineering from NIT Hamirpur, he was adjudged ‘Best Student’ for Batch 1993-97. After MBA, he did Project Management course from National University of Singapore and presently pursuing Ph. D. in Competitive Intelligence. 
Starting his career with Automobile Industry, established himself in IndianOil Corporation Limited. He is having enriched experience of more than 21 years in Oil & Gas sector viz. field of execution of Cross-Country Pipelines followed by Operations & Maintenance, Purchase and Contract Management and presently he is working in Project Design of Petroleum Crude, Product and Gas Pipelines and serving as Deputy General Manager with special emphasis on Cathodic Protection. He joined Indian Territorial Army and commissioned for Petroleum Oil & Gas support to nation and presently holding rank of Lieutenant Colonel. 
Col Joshi is President for North Zone of NACE NIGIS. He has represented in many international and national symposiums and presented technical papers in the field of Cross Country Pipelines Construction and Cathodic Protection. He has widely travelled across the globe to Latin America, Europe, Gulf and far East Asian countries for technical support and attending conferences.

Current responsibilities as General Manager (Maintenance and Inspection) include Integrity management and maintenance of aging cross-country pipeline assets, Offshore and Onshore.  As Deputy Advisor with Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board, coordinated framing Statutory Regulations towards safety, integrity, access control and CGD authorizations. Contributed in various committees for OISD, ASME and BIS. An Electrical Engineer by choice and PGDBM from MDI Gurgaon hold certifications in Project Management and Energy Management.




Sahab Singh Gurjar

Mr. Sahab Singh Gurjar is presently associated as Plant Integrity Manager with Cairn Oil & Gas, Vedanta Limited and previously associated as Sr. Inspection Manager with M/s Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Pipeline Division, PLHO, Noida.  
 
He is having more than 22 years professional & managerial experience in major oil & gas companies in corrosion mitigation strategies, asset integrity management strategies, risk based Inspections, Intelligent pig survey, Robotic Inspection technique, external & internal corrosion mitigation strategies etc. He is Recipient of NACE Award for Excellence in Corrosion Science & Technology for the Year 2017. He Authored and presented more than a dozen technical papers in international conference. He Implemented RBI in world's longest 700 Km heated & insulated crude oil pipeline system (first its kind in India) 
 
He is B.Tech in Metallurgical Engineering from IIT BHU and completed the Management from IIM Ahmadabad.




Nivedita Bhattacharya

Ms Nivedita S. Bhattacharyya has 29 years of experience in design and engineering consulting as well as construction site supervision in various fields of Corrosion Control and Mitigation related to Cathodic Protection system, On-line computerized Corrosion Monitoring system, Industrial Chemical Cleaning & Passivation, Corrosion Cost estimation with respect to various equipments, instruments, pipelines and related items. She has worked on various new as well as existing projects and troubleshooting operations in India and abroad for Oil and Gas Production areas, Oil Cavern, Offshore platforms, Jetty, Port & Harbour, onshore and offshore Pipelines, Refineries & Petrochemicals, Gas Processing Complex, Crude Oil Terminal, Fertilizers, Chemical and Process Industries, Utilities & offsite unit and Infrastructure areas. 
 
She has qualified NACE (Houston,USA) Cathodic Protection Level 2, and completed her Bachelors in Technology in Chemical Engineering from Assam Engineering College and also has a degree of Bachelor of Science Honours in Chemistry from Cotton College, Guwahati. 
 
She has published numerous research papers in her field in national as well as international conferences like CORCON, Petrotech, and is presently working as a Senior Group head for corrosion mitigation and Cathodic Protection at Engineers India Ltd (EIL). She is certified as a lead auditor by Quality Management System and is affiliated with NACE ( Houston, USA) along with Institute of Corrosion (Northampton, Europe).

Presently working with Indian Oil Corporation Limited in the capacity of Chief Manager (Alternate Energy) and have over 23 years of experience in Operation , Maintenance and Construction in Oil and Gas Industry. He is an Energy Auditor Certified by Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Govt of India and served for 5 years on deputation to Petroleum Conservation Research Association , a registered body under MoP&NG , Govt. of India. He has wide experience in the field of Pipeline Corrosion. He has represented India for Multicountry Observational Study Mission on Green Energy Technology, Taipei, Republic of China .

Led a diverse team of cross-functional professionals in a variety of highly competitive, complex, high budget multiple CP projects in India as well as overseas. Presently in CORRXPERTS PVT LTD as Director (sales and Marketing) since sept 2019. Was earlier heading the CP division of RAYCHEM RPG PVT LTD from Oct 2008 till Sept 2019.Has worked for CONSTRUCTION GUILD INDIA PVT LTD as a project manager from Oct 1999 to Sept 2008 , wherein was exposed to on site experience for various CP projects and associated survey works.

Mr. Sharma is an electrical engineering graduate from Delhi University in India and is currently 67 years young . He has around 35 years of work experience in Refineries Division of Indian Oil , Oil Industry Safety Directorate ( OISD ) and CAIRN India Limited ( CIL) 
 
He has worked in Captive Power Plant, Maintenance of Process Units, Electrical work shop ,Engineering Services and also in HR. Post Shakur Basti LPG fire , he was entrusted with Electrical safety Audits of Process Units, LPG and Petroleum Depots of Indian Oil .  
 
He is currently associated with PNGRB for Technical Audits and National accreditation Board for Certification Bodies ( NABCB) as an ISO-17020 Assessor of Third Parties in Natural Gas , City Gas Distribution , Petroleum and Petroleum Products Pipelines and ERDMP verification. He has been a part of PNGRB team for Technical of Natural Gas & Petroleum Products pipelines and LNG Terminal. 
 
As a freelancer, he has carried out Electrical & Fire Safety audit assignments for Hero Industries at Hardwar, Grasim Industries at Nagda & Indonesia , Asian Paints at Greater Noida and Fiat Geep Automobiles at Pune to name a few. 
 
As a faculty for International Minimum Industrial Safety Training ( IMIST) , he conducted 20 nos. of programs and qualified more than 500 nos. of Engineers and Technicians at Barmer Oil field of CAIRN India Limited . He was faculty for Three IMIST programs for IOCL, Pipelines at Bijwasan & Panipat Pipelines Terminal .

Manoj Sharma

Shri MK Sharma is Chief General Manager at Indian Oil Corporation Limited (Pipelines Division) and presently heading the Mechanical wing of the Projects department. With more than 25 years of experience in planning, design, execution, operation and maintenance of large petroleum handling terminals and Oil, LPG & Gas pipelines stretching across the nation, he is credited with design, development, and maintenance of efficient corrosion protection systems necessary for maintaining large tank farms in crude oil handling terminals at very challenging environments in both the west and east coast lines. He is also experienced in maintaining critical SPM systems in highly corrosive and sensitive marine installations. Mr. Sharma looks forward to developing systems with higher operational flexibility and longer maintenance cycles for pipelines and terminal facilities.




Ajit K. Thakur

Shri Ajit Thakur is Chief General Manager at Indian Oil Corporation Limited (Pipelines Division) and is presently heading bulk Operations & Maintenance set up, including critical SPM systems in highly corrosive marine installation at Paradip. He is having more than 26 years of experience in planning, design, execution, operation and maintenance of Oil & Gas pipelines & bulk petroleum handling terminals across the nation. 
Shri Thakur has been actively involved in design, execution and maintenance of effective cathodic protection systems for cross country pipelines and tankages. Shri Thakur, with progressive and positive attitude, ensures execution of critical activities to meet timelines within cost.

Dr. Arunima Shukla

Dr. Arunima Shukla is currently working as Research Engineer in the Research & Development Department of Dehn India. Her current role is to develop a unique solution for earthing/grounding for different environmental conditions. Dr. Shukla has completed her PhD entitled ‘CGAs-based light-weight concrete’ in January 2020 at Department of Chemical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology. She is a recipient of Research Fellowship from TSDP, DST, and SERB, DST International Travel Grant besides many other awards. Her professional achievements include overall 3 Indian patents (1 is granted), 2 journal articles, and 11 national/international conferences and poster presentations.



Mahendra K.Meena

Mahendra Kumar Meena is an Electrical engineer from IIT, BHU- Varanasi and NACE certified Coating Inspector Level 2. He is currently working as Maintenance Manager in Indian Oil Corporation Limited. 
 
With almost 10 years of experience in the field of Oil & Gas pipelines, he has a keen interest in Maintenance of cross-country pipelines, Coating rehabilitation of old pipelines, Repair of corrosion anomalies, Cathodic Protection (CP) systems and Integrity Management of System.  
 
He developed expertise through his pipeline operation experience and electrical maintenance experience of HT/ LT system up to 11 KV for almost 4 years including motors, transformer and generator.



Manish Mishra

I have completed my Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering in the year 2009 from National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela, India. With an experience of more than 11 yrs in the field of oil and gas pipelines construction, operation and maintenance with specialization in CP and Electrical system design, I am presently employed as Projects Manager (Electrical) at IndianOil Corporation Limited. Currently, I take care of CP and Electrical system design for all Projects under execution by IndianOil Corporation Limited, Pipelines Division. I am also a NACE certified CP-2 Cathodic Protection Technician since 2019.



Gaurav Yadav

Shri Gaurav Yadav is a graduate in Electrical Engineering from Harcourt Butler Technological University, Kanpur. He is currently working as Senior Project Manager in Indian Oil Corporation Limited (Pipeline Division) at Noida. He has over 12 year experience in design and execution of Cathodic Protection systems for cross country pipelines, station facilities and tanks. His other achievements include the successful design, inspection and execution of works for 33 kV switchyard and 66kV substations He has actively been associated in field surveys for identifying methods for reduction in mutual interference of four catholically protected pipelines in common RoW. His recommendations for reduction in mutual interference were accepted and implemented.  
He is also co-ordinating a software initiative for implementation of Best practices and improving Project Management practices for adoption in ongoing projects. He has also developed procedures for establishing methodology for application, testing and acceptance of internal coatings of fire water lines at hydrocarbon installations. He has been certified as Project Management Associate by Project Management Association (India).



Anurag Anand

Anurag Anand completed his B.Tech (Hons) in Chemical Engineering from NIT Jalandhar in 1996. He completed his MBA with Distinction from UBS Chandigarh in 1998. He is a certified Assessor from XLRI Jamshedpur for conducting Leadership Assessment Centres and also possesses certification in General Management from IIM Ahmedabad. He possesses more than two decades of experience in Manufacturing and Oil & Gas industry. He started his career with M/s Punjab Tractors Limited, Mohali. He joined IndianOil Corporation Limited in the year 1999 and has been associated with Human Resource function, typically Recruitment, Performance Management, Learning & Development, Employee Welfare and Industrial Relations. His technical moorings as a Chemical Engineer make him align to the core demands of the business seamlessly. He is presently working as Deputy General Manager-In charge (HR) at Panipat. He has been closely associated with organizing of various symposiums and conferences on Maintenance and Integrity Management of Cross-country Pipelines.

Gaurav Aggarwal completed his B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering (Power) from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi in 2010. In his 10+ years of professional journey in Oil and Gas Industry, which began in Pipelines Division of Indian Oil Corporation Limited, he has been actively involved in Operation and Maintenance of cross-country product pipelines, HSE activities, Project construction, Contracts, HR functions and Pipeline projects electrical design (including substation facilities and pipeline CP). He was posted at various critical locations including Northern Region Pipelines Central Dispatch, Mundra Crude Oil Terminal and Pipelines Division Head Office. He is a certified Cathodic Protection Technician (CP-II).

Completed B E Chemical engineering from University of Roorkee ( IIT-Roorkee) in 1995 and joined BPCL, Mumbai Refinery in 1995. Worked in BPCL-Mumbai Refinery from 1995 to 2017 in various department like Production, Project, Technical Services etc. And joined as Joint Director (Process and Engineering), OISD in May-2017 on deputation. Presently looking after the safety audits of all the Indian Refineries, Petro Chemical Plants, GPP,LNG terminals and CTF.

Nayan Agarwal, Deputy Manager- Pipeline Operations, HPCL Mittal Pipelines limited. 
Associated with M/s HMPL since 2011. Having experience of more than +12 years in Oil & Gas sector especially in cross country pipeline related to Cathodic Protection System, Pigging Operation, Corrosion Control & Electrical System including commissioning & operation of cross-country pipeline. 
 
Qualified as B. Tech – Electrical and one year Post graduation diploma in Pipeline Operations. 
 
Currently, he is acting as Station In-charge at Crude receipt Terminal @ Bathinda, Punjab. Centrally, he takes care of Cathodic Protection System, Pigging analysis & Internal corrosion through Microbial growth monitoring in entire stretch of 1017 km Mundra-Bathinda pipeline of M/s HMPL. He was involved in pre-commissioning, commissioning of pipeline and also did supervision of 132 KV switchyard construction & commissioning at one of the pumping station.  
 
He has also presented some Technical papers in different national conferences.

With an experience of more than 11 yrs in the field of oil and gas pipelines construction, consultancy, operation and maintenance with specialization in CP and Electrical system design & maintenance, I am presently working as Maintenance Manager (Electrical) at IndianOil Corporation Limited. Currently, I take care of CP and Electrical system maintenance for all operational pipeline network of IndianOil Corporation Limited, Pipelines Division.
